Architecture that changed the commercial conversation
Made tenant economics visible, turning an architecture question into a business decision.
Expansion and early-renewal pipeline.
The situation
An enterprise SaaS company could not see how individual customers’ consumption compared with their contracts. Without tenant-level visibility, engineering and commercial teams lacked a shared basis for decisions.
The decision
I reframed the problem around tenant economics and built a cost-per-tenant analysis to expose consumption against customer contracts.
The impact
The analysis surfaced overages and a six-figure expansion and early-renewal pipeline. It gave technical findings a direct commercial consequence.
What it unlocked
The CTO and VP of Revenue Operations sponsored a follow-on observability engagement. Their team went on to implement it, extending the initial analysis into an ongoing capability.
